Davíd Carrasco is Associate Professor of Religious Studies at the University of Colorado, Boulder, and Director of the Mesoamerican Archive and Research Project. Eduardo Matos Moctezuma is Professor of Archaeology at the Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia and Director of the Museo Nacional de Antropología in Mexico City.
