CPM is a new generation of mathematics for today's primary school built around National Curriculum guidelines. The materials in the seven modules, covering all the primary years, provide a complete resource of ideas and support for teachers and pupils. This Teacher's Resource Book includes: general information and hints on teaching mathematics; mathematical objectives of pupils' activities; suggestions for teaching approaches and introductory activities; ideas for developing the mathematical themes; notes on approaches to investigations; games and activities for calculator work; links with the environment and other curriculum areas and; back-up for teachers such as pupil record sheet and glossary of mathematical terms.
