A collection of essays by Alexander Rosenberg, the distinguished philosopher of science. Alexander Rosenberg is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Georgia. He received the Lakatos Award for distinguished contribution to philosophy of science in 1993. He is the author of eight other books, including The Structure of Biological Science (Cambridge University Press, 1985).
