À propos de l'auteur

Paul O'Brien MD is a world leader in the LAP-BAND, with extensive experience in treating people with weight problems, conducting research into obesity and teaching health professionals about the band. He pioneered its clinical use in the early 1990s. In Melbourne, Australia, he is the Emeritus Director of the Centre for Obesity Research and Education at Monash University and heads the Centre for Bariatric Surgery in Melbourne. He is also the National Medical Director for the American Institute of Gastric Banding, a leader in LAP-BAND surgery as a safe outpatient procedure in the US.
