Charming illustrations, which are delicate and graceful, tell the beautiful story of a grandmother and her granddaughter. Binding is firm; Interior pages are clean without creases, tears or writing except for "P" stamp on FEP. Light foxing to inside guttesr of end papers. Navy blue cloth covers are clean and unmarred except for light shelf wear to bottom edge. Gilded title is shiny and bright. Illustrated DJ is still colorful but has edge wear throughout. Light soiling and rubbing. DJ is NOT price clipped; Sticker pasted down on spine identifies this as "A Collins World Library Binding". Book is NOT an ex-lib nor a remainder. DJ in new mylar jacket. Unusual to find a children's book that is over 66+ years old, in such fine condition. Note: We use "Fine" book condition judiciously; a Fine book is when the book approaches 'As New' condition and may not have been previously owned.
