Synopsis

This book for the CS course is built on concepts of object-oriented programming, with C++ as the programming language of choice. The authors begin with a study of objects and classes in chapter one, and then discuss control structures, compound classes (arrays), pointers, references, strings, inheritance, input/output, algorithms and abstract data types. The text concludes with a Pascal C++ dictionary to assist students in translating programs from Pascal to C++ and back again.
