Sunday evening addresses given to my congregation at Crouch Hill. The repeated requests on the part of those who heard them that they should be published and so made available for further consideration seem to indicate that they might be of service to a wider public in the way of stimulating thought concerning the content of the Christian faith. The aim of these addresses is expressed in the brief introductory statement I made at the time they were delivered :11 What I am about to try to do is to show you the broad, essential outlines of the Faith of the Gospel as I hold it to-day, and to give some of the reasons why I hold it in the way I do.
