Synopsis

Have you ever wondered whether the grass is greener on the other side? During the course of the novel, Juliet must work out what's really important in life and whether romance really is all about sexy lingerie and red roses. The action takes place in London, Yorkshire and Italy (Verona, of course) and is full of great characters (an American would-be single mother to a widowed eightysomething as well as an Irish bookie) as it shows the misunderstandings that arise between couples, and gives different perspectives on love and life.

Alexandra Potter was born in Bradford, Yorkshire. She has lived in Los Angeles (which inspired her second novel) and Australia where she worked on Vogue and Cleo (and did rather too much sunbathing). She has also worked as a features writer and sub-editor for women's glossies in the UK including Elle, Morel, OK! and Vogue. She now writes full-time and lives in Notting Hill, London. Her previous novels are what's New Pussycat and Going La-La.
