In previous editions of How To Become An MCSE In 3 Weeks we included teaching the novice or newbie the basics of computers and computer networks, then led into passing the MCSE exams. That information is no longer a part of the book. This and any future edition of How To Become An MCSE In 3 Weeks will assume the reader is at least familiar with computers and networks to some degree. The book is divided into titled sections, which provides a tutorial and/or study guide for passing a specific exam included in the author's suggested route to becoming a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer. Although some sections are a little longer and more technical than others, no section should take more than 3-4 hours of reading, with the average being about 2 hours.
