"Willow Run Poultry Farm" is the second volume of memoirs from authors Marcella Woolf Grenga and Jody LaRaine Grenga. This poignant oral history is a tribute to Byron and Blanche Woolf of Berlin Center in northeast Ohio who raised six children while weathering the vicissitudes of the Great Depression-- only to find greater privation during World War II. This story of quiet triumph over adversity that will leave you laughing and crying over their pleasures and hardships and all in-between is a testimony to a family's love for each other and will-to-survive against all odds. In the 1930s some 400,000 farms were foreclosed. Willow Run was spared thanks to this family's wit and grit.
