The first three lectures on Principles of Anglicanism were delivered on the foundation of the Reinicker Lectureship in the Virginia Theological Seminary, A lexandria, in November 1909; the fourth, on The Principle of Orders, was read before the Brooklyn Clerical League in March 1910; the fifth, on The Achievements and Failures of Protestantism, was written for the St. Mary s Conference, Raleigh, N. C., in June 1910; the sixth, on Church Unity, is a sermon preached at St. John s Church, Wilmington, and later at Grace Church, A vondale, Cincinnati, in October 1910.
