Rupert Smith was born in Washington DC in 1960, and grew up in Surrey. He has written numerous articles on television, arts and entertainments for a wide variety of publications. Rupert has written several companions to successful television series, including Cold Feet, Eastenders, Gormenghast and the Forsyte Saga.
