The book is written by an expert team of authors with vast experience of this extraordinary animal group. Chris Mattison is a natural history writer and photographer who specialises in reptiles and amphibians. He has written and illustrated over 20 books. An award winning photographer and critically acclaimed author, Nick Garbutt has had a lifelong fascination for reptiles, and on Madagascar has observed a significant proportion of the islands' species of chameleons.
