Ehud Ben Zvi is Professor of (ancient) History at the University of Alberta, Canada.
Claudia V. Camp is Professor of Religion at Texas Christian University, USA and was on the steering committee of the Seminar. She is currently co-general editor of the LHBOTS series, as well as the author or editor of 4 books and numerous articles.
Dr. David M. Gunn is A.A. Bradford Professor of Religion Emeritus at the Texas Christian University.
Aaron W. Hughes is the Dean's Professor of the Humanities and the Philip S. Bernstein Professor of Religion at the University of Rochester, USA.

Those in Part 3, on the other hand, Texts in Play, take more recent works (from Shakespeare to Tove Jansson's Moomin books for children) as their point of departure, developing conversations between texts across the centuries that enrich the readings of both the ancient and modern pieces of literature.
