Synopsis

This is the first book in an action-packed football series from the bestselling sports writer Michael Hardcastle, following the dramas and excitements of the close knit cast of characters whose lives revolve around Goal Kings JFC. Striker Alex is the most talented player on the team, but he is finding it increasingly hard to control his temper in front of the referee. Off-pitch, an ambitious parent launches a secret plot to have the coach Sam Saxton replaced and the tension peaks when the most important game of the season ends in a penalty shoot-out.
