Synopsis
A humorous tale about Gorky the frog who, while his parents are out, concocts a magic potion. Soon he is sailing through the summer sky, much to the astonishment of his friends and neighbours. Gorky knew of the potency of the magic so he is not too alarmed. But how is he going to get down again? The author has also written "Solomon the Rusty Nail" and "Brave Irene" and was a Caldecott Medal winner, co-winner of the American Book Award and a Newberry Medal nominee.
