Liezel de La Isla is an educator and cooking enthusiast. Born in NYC to immigrant Filipino parents, she has lived in various parts of the US and is currently based in Prague. Liezel is an avid cookbook reader who enjoys visiting markets, bowling and taking pastry classes, but not necessarily in that exact order. She began her culinary journey in the kitchens of her family and completed the Leith's School of Food and Wine Essential Cooking Certificate. This is her first cookbook and hopefully not the last!
