Hardcover. Etat : As New. Etat de la jaquette : As New. Xela (illustrateur). 1st Edition. Alexander Kaufman. The Fourth Quarter. Port Washington NY: Intervale Publishing, 2018, assumed 1st edition, 1st printing, 60 pp., (ii). *** Kaufman's wrote this, his shortest book, at age 90. It is an honest assessment of aging, of the last quarter of anyone's lifetime. Of course, like everything else, there are advantages and drawbacks, but the message is to make the most of it since you can get away with more stuff than ever before. Color text illustrations throughout, a full page color illustration in back, and one more on back flap of dust jacket, all by Xela. The color illustrated dust jacket (not price clipped) is in a clear protective cover. Along with this book is a signed letter on Kaufman's stationery addressed to Ric Bratton (This Week In America radio broadcaster) informing him that The Fourth Quarter is doing well on Amazon, so perhaps he "might have an interest in browsing through it." Thus, this was Bratton's copy. This book is in my inventory and the images are of this particular item. *** Dark blue cloth boards and spine. Book and jacket in new condition, so I guess Ric put it aside. *** 9.25 inches tall by 6.25 inches. Inscribed by Author(s). N° de réf. du vendeur 5457
