Tamara Pray Frazier is an author; ghostwriter and poet who uses her very colorful life as a single mother, and high school mentor/coach to pen realistic stories that inspire and touch the heart. She is the author of two books; a heartfelt biography titled, In His Own time - A Story of Family, Friends and Courage and the newly published children's book, Your Own Kind of Beautiful, which is Book 1 in a series titled Walking With Grace. In her spare time, Tamara enjoys spending time with her 3 children, 2 grandsons and huge extended family.

A native of the U.S. Virgin Islands, "Jae" is an illustrator that strives to create magical content for children of diverse backgrounds. Her focus is on diverse representation in story and visual development through children's books and animation. Her mission is to provide the youth of today a window into themselves through inspiration, imagination, and illustration.

The Characters Grace, Vivian and Daisy were conceived in the creative mind of Yolanda Pray as a way to honor the ladies in her family who impacted her life growing up as a child in southeast Georgia. Vivian is her mother's name, Daisy is her grandmother's name and Grace is her great aunt; all have passed away. Yolanda is a hospitality professional residing in New York City with her fur babies, Pepper and Hallie. She enjoys reading and working out in her spare time. Jenny, as she is known to family, has a Bachelors Degree in Marketing and is a formal print model.
