The Real Unprivileged

Is an autobiographical novel by James Montgomery Alexander, a veteran United States Marine and a 30 year Detroit Police tactical officer. The story is set in the Murder Capital of the World. Follow along in a world of adventure, excitement and weirdness, while he learns to deal with the negatives of human life, society’s rules and their ways of thinking.

This was his favorite duty station and it was long before the U.S. built a prison for terrorists. After spending nearly two years enlisted, he was mailed a notification to report to the Selective Service. Plain and simply put, he was drafted. And so it goes…
