Author of the adult nonfiction collection, Best Dog Ever, P.D. Appleton grew up in the Pacific Northwest. She has four boys who she read to faithfully, as she now does with her grandkids. She comes from an artistic family of musicians, poets, singers, and dancers, rounding it out with writing and mural painting. She continues to live in the Pacific Northwest with her husband, working on book two of the Nibble's adventures, a young adult mystery, and a cookbook for men.
