Synopsis

~*~Eyes and ears! Arms and legs! Personalities and talents! Where people live, how they talk, what they eat, and LOTS more! There are so many differences among us. Let us explore these differences through the ABC's! ~*~Kids are born without prejudice. They are also very curious creatures; and they stare...a lot! A lack of knowledge about things often breeds fear and judgment. It is so important to teach young children about peoples' differences and encourage them to ask questions. The more kids understand about diversity at an early age, the more likely they are to be inclusive and accepting of others! Be proactive! Help your little loved ones recognize and get to know differences among people before they develop a fear of others based on diversity. ~*~Let's not judge. Let's not stare. Let's just love. Let's just care.~*~Note from the author: There is lots of information in this book, so I recommend taking it slow with your little one. The younger they are, the more challenging it will be to focus and absorb so much info. My girls and I have read it numerous times, and they have grasped the concepts better when we read and talk about a few pages at a time.~*~Another little note: To say that my kids give me inspiration would be an understatement! They are truly the innovators behind this book. My husband and I have been blessed with two very observant and inquisitive little girls. This comes with lots of people-watching and questions. To help them better understand, I created this book to try and answer some of their questions. My driving force is to educate them in a way that they learn not to shun away from people who look or act differently than them, but to approach and include them kindheartedly.
