Ingrid Levy is one of the few Jews who survived the Holocaust. She relocated to America in search of a new life and found it as the wife of Rabbi Herschel Levy. Having distinguished herself in Chicago's Jewish community, chaos ensues when officers of the Kansas Bureau of Investigation arrest Ingrid at an event set up to honor her husband. Faced with accusations of being a Nazi sympathizer during the war, she has no choice but to open a Pandora's box of lies and secrets she believes she left behind in Auschwitz. Only one person can help her clear her name, but will Anna Mendel be willing to do so after everything she has endured at the hands of the Nazis? Only time will tell in The Good Nazi by D.A. Chadwick.

D.A. Chadwick draws inspiration for The Good Nazi from one of the most critical turning points in history. Chadwick focuses on Ingrid's and Anna's early years, highlighting the unique nature of their friendship while providing subtle hints for perceptive readers to deduce that the two girls had more in common than is immediately apparent. The dialogue is era-appropriate, highlighting the slurs used by the Germans when addressing Jews. The author demonstrates extensive attention to detail, emphasizing lesser-known facts such as the Nazi government's use of churches to spread their anti-Jewish propaganda. A combination of gradual pacing and fluid transitions between past and present creates an immersive narrative whose overarching theme of forgiveness will appeal to drama and history enthusiasts alike.
