It covers the basic visual elements of art and design; line and shape, pattern and texture, colour and tone, form and structure. The author is Inspector for Art and Design ILEA. He is the editor of ARTS, Chairman of the GCSE syllabus committee for London/East Anglian Examining Board. Other works by the author include "Themes and Projects in Art and Design".
