Synopsis

The practical activities in this book break down the writing section of the English curriculum at Key Stage two into progressive learning chunks. It is vital that from an early age children are able to appreciate the real need for writing and the role writing plays in communication. Through this range of activities, children can experience a range of stimuli and practice writing in a variety of ways for different audiences. The progressive activities are organized into sections which look at language study, imaginative writing, non-fiction writing and persuasive writing.
