Synopsis

Veteran paramedic Don Anderson and his rookie partner, Jennifer Myers, are on a seemingly routine call when Don is suddenly shot in the chest. With the exception of being shot, Don Anderson's life is tailored after the author's own life. Doug lives in Vero Beach, Florida with his wife, Marcia, and his kids, Jennifer, Meredith, and William, and still works as a Paramedic for Indian River County, EMS Division.
