Nervous about the project, Lazlo asks his friend, Jake Horvak, to join the film crew. After serving as a Ranger in the U.S. Army and then in Black Ops for the C.I.A., Jake Horvak has made a new, quiet life for himself as an insurance investigator in his hometown of Steelport. Jake accepts Lazlos offer.A gruesome conspiracy and circle of deadly events begins to close around the film crew, forcing Horvak to dredge up his old skills and personal demons. The lethal, explosive conclusion rampages through the night streets of Steelport as Little Carpathia battles for its existence.

Alan Souter has been a professional writer for 30 years. He has traveled throughout the world as a photojournalist and filmmaker. His experience includes: weapons instructor, private investigator, military historian, professional artist and non-fiction author of eleven books with his wife and writing partner, Janet.
