Terry Morris wrote her first novel entitled No Hiding Place in 1945. After the war she turned to doing a unique type of as-told-to story involving subjects the magazines had never ventured into previously. In the early 1950's, she became a member of the American Society of Journalist and Authors, and in the 70's she became its President. She remained an active member until her death in 1993.
