The author, Dan McFadden, resides in the woods east of Seattle with his wife, Skybyrd, and three children, Derek, Ben and Delaney. A seasoned traveler, he most recently opened a guest lodge on the Peruvian Amazon (www.junglelodge.com). A public relations writer by vocation, Dan is an avid skier, golfer, and world adventurer.
