Biographie de l'auteur

ABOUT THE AUTHORAllan D. LeVantine, inventor, chiropractor and engineer, designed the first qualified space suit and life support system, know as the Litton Hard Suit, and was one of the first men to test it in a space chamber. He designed and constructed many space chambers and solar simulators for evaluating spacecraft while at TRW and directed the first space-simulation test on a fully instrumented spacecraft, for which he received international recognition. He operated his own engineering and manufacturing business for technical products. Mr. LeVantine has received 27 U.S. patents, and is a member of Sigma Xi, the Scientific Research Society.
