Synopsis

The world of 2100 is a terrible place! A combination of global warming and the devastation caused by a series of local atomic wars has led to the destruction of the environment. They distribute the remaining food and water to the world populace. By 2054, scientists discover means to convert human waste into food and water capsules.The story begins in June 2223, when a spaceship from a distant planet lands on earth. They find a world of terrible winds, excessive temperatures, and constant storms; but no humans can be found! They discover the arid earth has spawned horrible worms that roam the globe. A tape is discovered which describes the attempts of three brave people of 2100 to save the earth - Dr. Alex Mendez, a professor of 20th century history, Dr. Jack Lee, Director of a Physics Laboratory, and Rebekka, an advanced robot. Alex and Rebekka plan to return to the world of 2003 to influence a noted environmental scientist, Dr. Peter O'Day, to alter his negative opinion of global warming.Rebekka is a scribe, and is the teller of this tale. She has preparing a tape for future generations.
