Building on Strength (BoS) ask nonprofit leaders to identify what works, and reveals a natural, insightful process of discovery aimed toward better educated and happier children, healthier people, vibrant neighborhoods, and enhanced understanding of the arts and cultural contributions to the life and leisure of visitors and citizens in our communities.
BoS begins as a normal human conversation, discovering the best, the highest points of a person's life, organizational achievement, and community strength. As people connect with examples of success from their own pasts, as they approach issues from positive positions, inventive solutions emerge, energy for change builds, and delivery of goods and services to the nonprofit sector improves.
BoS provides a condensed introduction to the history and theory of strength-based career and organizational development processes. BoS provides a workbook to lead the nonprofit leader through career and life coaching and organizational development.You can use BoS methods to:
