William S. Shepard is a former career diplomat who served as American Consul General in Bordeaux. A member of the Commanderie de Bordeaux and other French wine societies, he is now Wine Editor for Bonjour Paris (www.bparis.com).He and his wife enjoy life on Maryland?s Eastern Shore.
