Fernando B. Perfas has over thirty years experience in the field of chemical dependency. He has practiced, written, and conducted training on the methods of the therapeutic community in several countries. His writings reflect his multi-cultural work experiences. He is the author of Therapeutic Community: A Practice Guide. Perfas lives in upstate New York with his wife and children.
