KoKo lives in Toledo, Ohio with her two adult sons. Her passion is writing poetry based on life experiences. KoKo did her poetry recitals at the Bijou Theatre, Seagate Hotel, Art Tatum and Mott Branch Libraries. At The University of Toledo, Koko portrayed Ruth, a single mother in the play ?Ellaweed?s Plantation?, written by Naomi Brown. For the Gospel Play, Pageant of The Mind, she played the character of Love. She also portrayed the Sixth Disciple in the Gospel Play, ?Challenges of the Cross.? Both performances were at her Home Church, Greater St. Mary?s Missionary Baptist Church. KoKo founded Kaela?s Liberty Line; bus transportation for a Prison Ministry. She was also a Board Member of Inner City Youth Movement, and Onesimus Out Reach Ministries. KoKo is a graduate of University of Toledo, Associate of Applied Business.
