Synopsis

High school football fervor splits a town philosophically when emphasis on education collides with emphasis on victory at all costs. Doug Scancarella has been writing about athletics since he graduated from Villanova in 1990. He works for the New York Times and lives with his wife and children in Wayne, New Jersey.
