A non linear, semi erotic expression and celebration of lesbian desire.The idea for Encounters was originally born in at the European Graduate School in Saas Fee, Switzerland, and is inspired by the Swiss Alps. Encounters consists of twenty-five individual writings designed to be read from start to finish or in any order chosen. Biographie de l'auteur

Although, formally trained as a visual artist and experimental filmmaker, Vertna has always appreciated and practiced the creative written word. Encounters wasinspired by a life - time of being a woman that adores women. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Media and Communication at the European Graduate School in Saas Fee, Switzerland. When she?s not in Europe, she currently makes her home in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, (where she is in production on the feature - length movie ?Double Pleasure, Double Pain? with author Nikki Rashan) and in Lake Charles, Louisiana, as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Mass Communication Department at Mc Neese State University.
