Synopsis

ArlingtonWalk among the gardens of stoneEvenly spaced white rows as far as the eye can seeWatch the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknownHonoring the nameless heroes' memorySee the small flags flutter here and thereFaded by years of rain and sunHear a somber gathering murmur a solemn prayerFor a fallen hero whose journey's doneWalk softly by an old womanBent and scarred by the unforgiving yearsAs she pauses to remember what might have beenHer sad eyes filled with unrequited tearsAnd when you leave these hallowed acresWhere the stone flowers growRemember the fallen peacemakersWhose sacrifice bought us our tomorrow
