The author earned two Master's Degrees from The University of Wisconsin and Marquette University. Served in Korea and Japan as secretary to General Garrison Coverdale. Circled the globe solo, involving 109 days and $950. Later taught, trained teachers and became administrator in Milwaukee schools and taught at University of Wisconsin summer schools.
