Christopher Jane Corkery was born in Spokane, Washington, but she spent much of her childhood in Europe and Mexico. Recipient of fellowships from The Ingram Merrill Foundation and The St. Botolph Club Foundation, as well as from Yaddo and The Macdowell Colony. The author lives near Boston.
