J. M. Beach has graduate degrees in English, History, and Philosophy from Oregon State University, and he is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Education at the University of California, Riverside. Beach currently teaches as an Instructor of English at Irvine Valley College and Riverside Community College. His published work includes: Studies in Poetry: The Visionary (UPA 2004) and Studies in Ideology: Essays on Culture and Subjectivity (UPA 2005).
