Ripples On the Surface is a collection of poems written from 1969 to 2006 (not compiled in the order they were written) expressing the personal feelings, dreams, and perceptions of the author. She is publishing her poetry for piggeries, to help empower women in Jinga, Uganda, become self-sustaining and support the HIV/AIDS infected people of their village. Franki deMerle also writes and arranges music, plays classical guitar, and is writing a novel.
