A number of nonprofit organizations are answering the call to save these lighthouses, but once a lighthouse is gone, so is its history. Biographie de l'auteur

James D. Roche was only three days old when he first visited the Cuckolds Light. He joined the U.S. Coast Guard in 1986 and followed a career in search and rescue, law enforcement, and Coast Guard history. Roche now lives in Merritt Island, Florida.
