Synopsis

Ten years ago, Tom Greer was a different person. An Orlando police detective, Tom's partner was shot and killed in the line of duty. His life was in shambles, his career was over, his wife was unfaithful and his best friend was dead. And just when Tom had decided to end his life, he realized that he could simply remake it. And he did. A decade later, Tom Greer is a new man. He has a loving new wife, a comfortable home, a cool car and a brilliant dog. Living a simple Buddhist life in the mountains of Colorado, Tom has finally found peace and happiness. But one phone call changes all that. Aiko, a friend's wife, has been murdered. The police label it a carjacking, but Tom believes it is something more and begins to investigate. What he uncovers is shocking. Aiko was not the murderer's first victim. And if Tom can't solve this puzzle in time, she won't be the last. The Murder of Crows is a page-turner from beginning to end. The perfect blend of hard-boiled detective fiction and Eastern spiritualism, filled with thrills and surprises that keep the reader guessing right to the last page.
