This book is based on Danielle's successful journey through experts, educators, and the unenlightened as she tackled her learning disabilities. It is the story of being her mother and advocate through the good, the bad, the insane and the euphoric. It is a story of our family who through sheer tenacity survived Danielle's L.D. diagnosis, along with a very dismal educational outlook.Learning Disabilities are a fact of life for tens of millions of people. Learning Disabilities are an individual, family and community reality. We talk with people everyday who are either going through this battle themselves or know someone who is. We provide rules to maneuver through life understanding, accepting and conquering these unique challenges. We offer our story which proves that the power of commitment, strength, and love is the ultimate solution.
