An author and journalist, Hope Bakari, MEd, teaches English in Nashville, Tennessee. Tonya Sherman, MEd, is a freelance writer and the founder of Sankofa Dance Theater. She lives in the Washington D.C. area. A youth and family advocate, Lauren Lewis, MEd, lives in Savannah, Georgia, with her two daughters.
