Then at Suva, on the far side of Fiji, the drawing came to life. Don stepped off an old prop passenger plane. The hat was the same. So were the mustache and quick black eyes.

Biographie de l'auteur

Arnold Bitner was born in Indiana, and moved to Hawaii at age nineteen. He started to write at age fifty-four and currently has three books in publication. Scrounging the Islands with the Legendary Don the Beachcomber was first written as a birthday present for his wife, Phoebe Beach, in 1997.
