Paul Carpino is a Career Counselor at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV), a premier metropolitan research university with almost 30,000 students. His ten year career in the Hospitality Industry includes management, production supervision, concept and menu design, along with creating the food service program for an eight-unit chain.For over 10 years, Paul succeeded in event marketing and community relations with such corporations as, Cellular One, Centel Cellular, Sprint Cellular, 360 Communications and ALLTEL. Organizations Paul has worked with include: The Duke Children's Classic, NASCAR, the NHL, The Jimmy V Celebrity Golf Classic, The Greater Greensboro Chrysler Classic, Duke University, North Carolina State University, the Durham Bulls, Wake Forest University and UNC. He is noted for assisting in the placement of the ALLTEL logo on the Notre Dame Football coach's headset and inking the deal for the ALLTEL Pavilion, in Raleigh, NC. Paul is a 1995 recipient of the Sprint Cellular President's Award for excellence.After entering the field of professional career counseling, Paul re-invented the Career Services Center at Flagler College, a private, four-year Liberal Arts College in Saint Augustine, Florida the nation's oldest city. As Director of Career Services he raised the bar on recruiting, workshops, seminars and career fairs/event. He introduced the student population to new employers such as Walt Disney World, the Jacksonville Jaguars and Auto-Owners Insurance. Paul has presented on How to Choose a Major, Internships 101, The Art & Science of the Right Salary and How To Apply for a Job or Internship Online the Right Way.His capability to work with people and leverage their best contributions has led to a solid track record.
