Hawthorne quickly learns that Miller has many resources at her disposal, including the president of the United States.

M. J. Keaney is a former Navy pilot who has also taught writing and aerodynamics. Actively involved in community, political and church affairs, he lives in Pensacola, Florida, and also plays golf.
