Duke wanted to preserve a land where there were trees, rainfall, and animals sufficient to sustain life, before the communities in the desert destroyed it. The desert was Duke's domain. But could he pull this odd assortment of people along with him? Could he help save the Kaibab?

Biographie de l'auteur

Born in Dallas, Tex arrived in Denver as a child, attended North High School, joined the Marine Corp, then he and his first wife raised two children. He loved the mountains, the desert, his friends, and the study of history. Tex passed away March 29, 2003.
